On 7-7, at 7:07 PM, Colt Springall, son of STITCHED Founder and President Eamon Springall, made his commitment to the University of Tennessee on a full athletic scholarship to play baseball.

Colt Springall made his announcement with a prayer:

Blessings don’t flow to you, they flow through you… With my ANNOUNCEMENT and COMMITMENT to the University of Tennessee, I hit my knees and pray:

I pray 🧡🙏: “ Dear Heavenly Father. I kneel before you and pray with thankfulness for the many blessings you have flowed through me. Lord, please allow all of those who helped me get to this point know and understand my attitude of gratitude for each and every one of them. Lord, I’m so blessed to have great family, friends, coaches, teammates, teachers, athletic instructors, and mentors. I pray to you Lord that you fulfill all of those that helped me with an abundance of your mercy, your grace and your spiritual blessings. Touch their lives lord as I pray-fully honor their sacrifices for me. Lord God I give thanks to the University of Tennessee athletic department, academic department, and Coach Vitello and his staff for believing in me. Bless them lord for challenging me to finish what I started with my commitment to them on July 7, at 7:07pm, a special month, day, hour and minute for our family. Lord, I give thanks to you for the understanding of the process you have set forth in all of us, that without commitment we will never get started in anything, but without consistency, determination, and fortitude, we will never finish anything. I pray that you will continue to fill me with mighty strength and courage, so that I can double down on all of my past efforts, and to continue to chase my dreams. I pray that I will be strengthened in your name to always finish what I’ve started, including this commitment to UT, and to you, our lord and savior. I pray that you will calm my mind and whisper your truths to me often, especially in times of great success and miserable failure. I pray Lord that you will allow me to bind together all of my past, present, and future failures, and cast them out of my mind, and in your name, into the sea of forgetfulness, repentance and mercy. Dear lord I realize that chasing a dream, without setting goals, will always end up just being a bad dream. I pray that you will encourage me to be disciplined in setting goals, continually writing them down, and achieving them in and through your name, for with you anything and everything is possible, including my dreams. I pray Lord to never be out worked, to never lack the maximum amount of determination and effort, and to always “empty the bucket” in everything I do. Lord I pray to continue forward in my family’s shining examples of charitable actions, philanthropic deeds and always giving to those in need. Lord I pray to be a great baseball player, and an even greater person.

Dear god I pray that you connect me to your iron rod, and continually guide me toward your presence, even when life‘s temptations and challenges will want to lead me astray. With a humbled heart and In your holy name I pray, Amen 🙏.”

Thank you Dad / @stitchedlife for everything. Including helping my prayer ideas turn to incredible words. I hit my knees, and God heard it. What a feeling, God is Great! 🧡🙏
